Non-Owner Insurance
Non-Owners auto Insurance is for anyone who doesn't own a vehicle. The policy will provide basic liability coverage you need to protect yourself and your assets after an accident for which you were at fault. If you frequently rent or borrow cars or consistently drive cars that do not belong to you, such as those owned by your employer, it is well worth considering.
Also known as "hired automobile coverage", non-owner liability provides you with coverage if you cause injury or property damage to others in a car accident while you are operating a vehicle you do not own.
Non-owner liability only covers damages and injuries you cause to others. This coverage does not extend to damages or injuries you might suffer in a car accident. Also, this type of insurance typically does not include the following coverages:
- Comprehensive
- Collision
- Towing Reimbursement
- Rental Reimbursement
